We took the boys to Mt. Vernon on Saturday (10/11) to Apple Butter Makin' Days (isn't that just fun to say!). It's a fall festival where they make homemade apple butter and have hundreds of craft booths. It was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed just being out. However, when Brighton sees a picture of an apple now he says, "That's Apple Butter Makin' Days!" (There were banners all over town that had an apple and said Apple Butter Makin' Days.)
That is fun to say!! Tomorrow I have a meeting right after school until 5:00, then Bible study at 5:45-7:00, so I don't think we will be able to come to Branson which makes me sad!! Maybe we could meet Rigley, let's say, his high school graduation:(
